                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE ALTON PARK
                   AREA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON
                   FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 1991, FOR THE "HOWARD
                   SCHOOL OF ACADEMICS AND TECHNOLOGY
                   HOMECOMING PARADE" SPONSORED BY THE HOWARD
                   SCHOOL OF ACADEMICS AND TECHNOLOGY UNDER
                   CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the southbound traffic lane of Ohls Avenue
       from 38th Street to 42nd Street, the temporary closing of the
       westbound traffic lane of 42nd Street from Ohls Avenue to Grand
       Avenue, the temporary closing of the northbound traffic lane of
       Grand Avenue from 42nd Street to 40th Street, the temporary
       closing of the westbound traffic lane of 40th Street from Grand
       Avenue to Alton Park Boulevard, the temporary closing of the
       northbound traffic lanes of Alton Park Boulevard-Market Street
       from 40th Street to 26th Street and the temporary closing of the
       eastbound traffic lane of 26th Street from Market Street to 
Howard
       School of Academics and Technology on Friday, November 8, 1991
       from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for the presentation of "Howard 
School
       of Academics and Technology Homecoming Parade" under the
       sponsorship of Howard School of Academics and Technology, 
provided
       that the sponsor shall set out traffic cones in accordance with
       the traffic control plan attached hereto and shall provide, at 
all
       times, an access lane for emergency vehicles.
